Most online security guard courses are built by people who have never worked a shift. OSGTC is different. We're a division of Maxama Protection Inc, a licensed security company that has provided guards, mobile patrols, and alarm response across Ontario since 1981.
That means our curriculum isn't theoretical. It's built from decades of on-the-ground experience. Every lesson, quiz, and practice exam is designed to prepare you for the realities of security work, not just the Ministry exam.
We created OSGTC because we saw a gap in the market. Students were paying too much for training that didn't prepare them for the job. We built a Ministry-certified program that covers all 11 required topic areas, costs $99 + HST, and gives you a full year to complete it.
